Border Security Force reveals a notification for filling up the vacant seats for the position of ASI (RM), HC (RO) and HC (Fitter) in BSF Comn Set-up.
Total number of vacancies are 811 for which Indian Male and female candidates are required. Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply via prescribed application format before 30th September, 2013.

1. ASI (RM): 103 Posts
2. HC (RO): 685 Posts
3. HC (Fitter): 23 Posts

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit :
1. General Candidates age must be from 18 to 25 yrs.
2. OBC Candidates age must be from 18 to 28 yrs .
3. SC and ST Candidates age must be from 18 to 30 yrs.

Educational Qualification : 
1. For post no. 1 : Matric with 3 year Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances from any institution.
2. For post no. 2 : Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics.
3. For post no. 3 : Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution and two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic from an institution recognized by State or Central Government.

Selection Process : Selections for the same will be done on the basis of  Written Examination, Preliminary screening, Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test, Documentation, Dictation test for HC (RO), Interview and Medical Examination.

Application Fee : 

1. General and OBC Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50 only.
2. SC/ST and BSF Candidates are not required to pay any fees.

Step to Apply : Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply for all the above posts by filling up the Application form and send the form along with the related documents i.e. with attested copies of certificates in proof of age, educational qualification , caste and domicile /residence certificates at the centers mentioned in the notification.
